World Energy Trust and Green Ocean Challenge

We believe that humanity's biggest challenge in the next few decades is going to be the transition from our current fossil-fuel-based economies to whatever comes next. The era of oil and gas is going to end very soon, in historical terms, and coal will not last long once it becomes the only source of fossil fuel. The consequences of failing to meet the challenge of developing alternative energy sources are terrible to contemplate, let alone dealing with the side effects of pollution, global warming, and the loss of carbon-based feedstock for countless processes.
